This health and safety poster could be improved beccause the writing is too long and people are not gonna read it. you could improve it by making them more like bullet pounts instead of paragraphs.
This is a harness it ensures that your child can not wonder of and get lost or kidnapped you hold the harness which your child will be connected to if not used then if you are not watching your child then again could get lost or kidnapped.
This is a soft play area it is to make sure that if the child falls over that it doesnt hurt him/herself. if this is not in place then the hazard is that they could hurt themselves ie grazes knee mabe broken leg or other body part.
this piece of child safety equipment is to make sure that when your child is near water ie a pool or in the pool that it reduces the chance of the child drowning the hazard is that without this the child may drown.
This is a safety gate it ensures that the child cant get throw a certain place when the gate is closed it keeps the child where you want it to be kept the hazard is that the child may wonder and get lost or hurt ie falling down the stairs.
This is a piece of child safety equipment it is to cover a fireplace so that the child cant fall into the fire the hazard is that the child may fall and get a serious injury mabe even death.
The first picture is a potential hazard you could trip and hurt yourself you could make is safer by filling the hole in so then people cant get thei foot stuck and fall over.
The second picture is also a potential hazard beause it could fall and injure someone you could mke it safer by tightning it making sure that it wouldnt fall on you and to check it often.
The third picture the door could swing back and hit you, you could get injured by this you could make it safer by it not being able to swing it just opens and slowly closes so then it cant swing back fast and hit you.
The fourth picture could be a potential hazard it may fall on you so to make it safer you could take that piece of material and get the right size and put it in place so it is secrely fitted so it is less of a danger. By Emily Coyle.
